Once again HarperCollins has teamed up with Alibi and Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival, Harrogate to unearth some of the country’s hottest new crime-writing talent, and who better to provide you with inspiration than the queen of the scandicrime scene, Camilla Lackberg?

So put your writing skills to the test and submit your own crime short story and you could win a fantastic holiday, a kindle and a library of 100 crime books including a signed Camilla Lackberg back catalogue! Entries must be between 1,000 and 2,500 words, must be entirely your own work and, in the spirit of Camilla Lackberg, must create the sense of place of your local region.
