The Barons Of Texas: Tess (Mills & Boon Vintage Desire): First edition

I can\'t remember a time when I wasn\'t telling myself stories, but it was strictly for my own amusement. It never occurred to me to tell anyone about the stories in my mind. They were just there, and as natural to me as the breath in my lungs. Eventually, two wonderful, adorable sons arrived in my life, and they kept me incredibly busy and happy. There came a time, though, when I was forced to rest. Out of sheer boredom, I set out to entertain myself by writing down one of the stories in my mind. I got forty pages into it, then recovered, and put away the story. Seven years later, during another lull in my life, I pulled it out, polished it up, and sent it off. It was entitled \"Satin and Steele\", and it became my first published book. I\'ve written and published ever since.
